Dr Manveer Gill BSc (Hons), BDS (Glasgow) GDC 179436 - Principal Dentist
Dr. Manveer Gill is the Principal Dentist at Buttercup Dental, renowned for her precision, artistry, and expertise in advanced smile makeovers. With dual qualifications in dental technology and dentistry, she offers a unique, detail-driven approach to aesthetic and restorative treatments.
Graduating with First Class Honours in Dental Technology in 2009, followed by a Dentistry degree from the University of Glasgow in 2014, Dr. Manveer has since become a sought-after expert in Invisalign, composite bonding, and veneers. Her results are known for being both natural and transformative.
She also has a passion for oral surgery and prosthodontics, and for nearly a decade has lectured on removable dentures to newly qualified dentists. In addition, she is highly trained in facial aesthetics—providing anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and medical-grade skincare as a certified ZO Skin Health provider.
Combining clinical excellence with a refined aesthetic eye, Dr. Manveer delivers beautifully bespoke results tailored to each patient.
Dr Kerry Andrew BDS (Glasgow) PGDip (Periodontics) GDC 270455 - Dentist
Kerry, originally from Ayrshire, moved to Glasgow to study dentistry graduating in 2017. She then spent the next 6 yrs working in Ayrshire before starting in Buttercup in October 2023.
Kerry is currently studying for her Post Graduate Diploma in Periodontology. This will enable her to treat unresponsive gum disease, provide crown lengthening for aesthetic and functional reasons and provide gingival grafts to treat gum recession.
Kerry enjoys building strong relationships with her patients in a friendly and relaxed environment and loves giving them the ability to smile with confidence again.
Outside of work, Kerry lives in the Southside of Glasgow with her fiancé and 2 cats Malcolm and Martha. She loves travelling and experiencing new cultures. Recently returning from Slovenia which has become one of her favourite places she has ever been. She goes to the gym regularly where she has the club record for heaviest squat and deadlift.
Dr Bilal Aslam-Pervez MSc (Implantology) BDS (Glas) MBChB (Manc) - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Mr. Aslam-Pervez is a dually qualified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, holding both Dental (University of Glasgow) and Medical (University of Manchester) degrees, as well as an MSc in Implantology (University of Cardiff). He has extensive experience placing dental implants across the UK, ranging from single-tooth replacement to complex full-arch rehabilitation using Digital Smile Design (DSD) technology – a service he is currently unique in offering in Scotland – and works as a Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. His work in these hospitals involves managing patients in Head & Neck Cancer and Trauma.
He completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Liverpool, further developing his expertise in complex oncological and reconstructive cases. He has also undertaken observerships at leading international centres, including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taiwan), University College London Hospitals (UCLH), and hospitals in Sri Lanka, broadening his experience in advanced head and neck and Maxillofacial techniques.
His expertise includes complex implant cases, full-arch and All-on-4/All-on-6 rehabilitation planned with Digital Smile Design, immediate loading, guided implant surgery, sinus lifts, bone grafting, and nerve repositioning. Mr. Aslam-Pervez is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS) and the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF). He is actively involved in postgraduate teaching, mentoring dentists for the MJDF examination, and has taught both postgraduate and undergraduate dental students. He has presented his work at national conferences and has published in the field.
Dr Charlotte Smith GDC No. 289469 - Dentist
Charlotte graduated from the University of Dundee in 2020 and spent the next few years working within the UK NHS/private sector before working in Cairns, Australia. Whilst working overseas Dr Smith developed her practice, training in Invisalign and keeping up her avid interest in facial aesthetics. She has always enjoyed making her patients feel at ease and building their confidence to reach the completion of their treatment plans with a sense of accomplishment.
Charlotte holds certifications in Invisalign clear aligners, Composite Bonding and Implant Restoration. She also enjoys attending the events of new up-and-coming techniques and materials which are forever becoming available to general practice. Dr Smith integrates all of her expertise, training and passion to ensure that she can deliver the highest calibre of care for her patients.
Dr Claire Black - Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics
Dr Claire Black BDS (Belfast, 2007), MFDS RCPS (Glasgow, 2009), MSc Endodontics (Chester, 2024)
Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics.
With over 17 years of clinical experience, Dr Claire Black is our Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics. She graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2007 and went on to achieve Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2009.
Dr Black has continued to develop her expertise in the field of root canal treatment. She was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontology with Distinction from the University of Chester, followed by a Master’s degree in Endodontics in 2024—again graduating with Distinction.
In addition to her endodontic training, she is also a certified Invisalign provider and has a keen interest in short-term orthodontics and teeth whitening.
Dr Black is known for her warm and friendly approach, helping even the most anxious patients feel at ease. She builds strong, trusting relationships with patients and has a particular passion for educating children about good oral health. She regularly visits nurseries and schools to lead interactive sessions on toothbrushing and oral hygiene.
Outside the clinic, Dr Black enjoys a busy family life with her two young daughters. She’s also a keen runner, cyclist and yoga enthusiast—topics she’s always happy to chat about if you’re looking for a distraction in the dental chair!
Fiona McGrath CEP Dip Dent Hygiene GDC 4791 - Hygienist
Our hygienist, Fiona qualified in 1994 at the Glasgow Dental Hospital and has worked at Buttercup since 2017. She loves working here as our ethos really suits her and has since given up her two other positions in favour of Buttercup.
Fiona pushes herself to be as gentle as possible and works with the patient to find the best way to achieve optimum oral health.
Fiona lives with her husband, three children and dog. She is also the managing director of a Renfrewshire charity.
Caitlin Fenner - Hygienist
Caitlin began her dental career as a qualified Dental Nurse, where she developed a genuine passion for patient care and helping people feel confident about their oral health. Determined to build on her experience, she went on to qualify as a Dental Hygienist, turning that passion into a career dedicated to prevention and education.
Known for her friendly, caring nature, Caitlin takes pride in helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable while providing gentle, thorough treatment. She is passionate about promoting healthy smiles and enjoys supporting patients in achieving excellent long term oral health.
Gareth - Practice Manager
Gareth has been an integral part of our practice since it opened and is the heartbeat of our day-to-day operations. As our Practice Manager, he brings exceptional business and patient expertise, outstanding organisational skills and a warm, friendly approach that puts patients at ease.
Gareth is not only a top-tier leader, but also a caring and compassionate presence who ensures every visit is as comfortable and smooth as possible. His dedication to patient care and team leadership makes him a valued member of our team and a favourite among our patients.
Carly - Lead Nurse
With years of experience in dentistry, Carly is a valued member of our clinical team, known for her dedication to patient care and attention to detail.
As a dental nurse, she plays an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring every appointment runs smoothly, safely, and comfortably for our patients. Carly takes pride in creating a calm and welcoming environment, helping patients feel at ease throughout their treatment.
Outside of work, Carly loves going on holidays and exploring the world, always looking forward to discovering new places and cultures.
Claire - Nurse
Claire is a valued member of our nursing team, known for her friendly nature and caring approach. She plays an important role in supporting both our patients and clinicians, always ensuring a calm and welcoming environment.
With a gentle manner and a passion for patient care, Claire helps make every visit to the practice a positive experience. Before joining the dental field, Claire worked as a veterinary nurse, and she has a real love for animals which reflects in her compassionate and caring nature both inside and outside of the practice.
Gorete - Nurse
Gorete is a skilled dental nurse and treatment coordinator with a special interest in orthodontics. As an Invisalign specialist nurse, she combines her expertise with day-to-day clinical nursing to ensure every patient receives attentive and professional care.
Her dedication, friendly approach, and passion for patient care makes her a trusted point of contact for patients and a real asset to the practice.

Kerry is currently studying for her Post Graduate Diploma in Periodontology. This will enable her to treat unresponsive gum disease, provide crown lengthening for aesthetic and functional reasons and provide gingival grafts to treat gum recession.
Kerry enjoys building strong relationships with her patients in a friendly and relaxed environment and loves giving them the ability to smile with confidence again.
Outside of work, Kerry lives in the Southside of Glasgow with her fiancé and 2 cats Malcolm and Martha. She loves travelling and experiencing new cultures. Recently returning from Slovenia which has become one of her favourite places she has ever been. She goes to the gym regularly where she has the club record for heaviest squat and deadlift.

Dr Kerry Andrew BDS (Glasgow) PGDip (Periodontics) GDC 270455 - Dentist
Kerry, originally from Ayrshire, moved to Glasgow to study dentistry graduating in 2017. She then spent the next 6 yrs working in Ayrshire before starting in Buttercup in October 2023.
Kerry is currently studying for her Post Graduate Diploma in Periodontology. This will enable her to treat unresponsive gum disease, provide crown lengthening for aesthetic and functional reasons and provide gingival grafts to treat gum recession.
Kerry enjoys building strong relationships with her patients in a friendly and relaxed environment and loves giving them the ability to smile with confidence again.
Outside of work, Kerry lives in the Southside of Glasgow with her fiancé and 2 cats Malcolm and Martha. She loves travelling and experiencing new cultures. Recently returning from Slovenia which has become one of her favourite places she has ever been. She goes to the gym regularly where she has the club record for heaviest squat and deadlift.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr Bilal Aslam-Pervez MSc (Implantology) BDS (Glas) MBChB (Manc) - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Mr. Aslam-Pervez is a dually qualified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, holding both Dental (University of Glasgow) and Medical (University of Manchester) degrees, as well as an MSc in Implantology (University of Cardiff). He has extensive experience placing dental implants across the UK, ranging from single-tooth replacement to complex full-arch rehabilitation using Digital Smile Design (DSD) technology – a service he is currently unique in offering in Scotland – and works as a Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. His work in these hospitals involves managing patients in Head & Neck Cancer and Trauma.
He completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Liverpool, further developing his expertise in complex oncological and reconstructive cases. He has also undertaken observerships at leading international centres, including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taiwan), University College London Hospitals (UCLH), and hospitals in Sri Lanka, broadening his experience in advanced head and neck and Maxillofacial techniques.
His expertise includes complex implant cases, full-arch and All-on-4/All-on-6 rehabilitation planned with Digital Smile Design, immediate loading, guided implant surgery, sinus lifts, bone grafting, and nerve repositioning. Mr. Aslam-Pervez is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS) and the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF). He is actively involved in postgraduate teaching, mentoring dentists for the MJDF examination, and has taught both postgraduate and undergraduate dental students. He has presented his work at national conferences and has published in the field.

Dr Charlotte Smith GDC No. 289469 - Dentist
Charlotte graduated from the University of Dundee in 2020 and spent the next few years working within the UK NHS/private sector before working in Cairns, Australia. Whilst working overseas Dr Smith developed her practice, training in Invisalign and keeping up her avid interest in facial aesthetics. She has always enjoyed making her patients feel at ease and building their confidence to reach the completion of their treatment plans with a sense of accomplishment.
Charlotte holds certifications in Invisalign clear aligners, Composite Bonding and Implant Restoration. She also enjoys attending the events of new up-and-coming techniques and materials which are forever becoming available to general practice. Dr Smith integrates all of her expertise, training and passion to ensure that she can deliver the highest calibre of care for her patients.

Dr Claire Black BDS (Belfast, 2007), MFDS RCPS (Glasgow, 2009), MSc Endodontics (Chester, 2024)
Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics.
With over 17 years of clinical experience, Dr Claire Black is our Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics. She graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2007 and went on to achieve Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2009.
Dr Black has continued to develop her expertise in the field of root canal treatment. She was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontology with Distinction from the University of Chester, followed by a Master’s degree in Endodontics in 2024—again graduating with Distinction.
In addition to her endodontic training, she is also a certified Invisalign provider and has a keen interest in short-term orthodontics and teeth whitening.
Dr Black is known for her warm and friendly approach, helping even the most anxious patients feel at ease. She builds strong, trusting relationships with patients and has a particular passion for educating children about good oral health. She regularly visits nurseries and schools to lead interactive sessions on toothbrushing and oral hygiene.
Outside the clinic, Dr Black enjoys a busy family life with her two young daughters. She’s also a keen runner, cyclist and yoga enthusiast—topics she’s always happy to chat about if you’re looking for a distraction in the dental chair!

Fiona McGrath CEP Dip Dent Hygiene GDC 4791 - Hygienist
Our hygienist, Fiona qualified in 1994 at the Glasgow Dental Hospital and has worked at Buttercup since 2017. She loves working here as our ethos really suits her and has since given up her two other positions in favour of Buttercup.
Fiona pushes herself to be as gentle as possible and works with the patient to find the best way to achieve optimum oral health.
Fiona lives with her husband, three children and dog. She is also the managing director of a Renfrewshire charity.

Caitlin began her dental career as a qualified Dental Nurse, where she developed a genuine passion for patient care and helping people feel confident about their oral health. Determined to build on her experience, she went on to qualify as a Dental Hygienist, turning that passion into a career dedicated to prevention and education.
Known for her friendly, caring nature, Caitlin takes pride in helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable while providing gentle, thorough treatment. She is passionate about promoting healthy smiles and enjoys supporting patients in achieving excellent long term oral health.
