A new way of approaching dentistry in Glasgow West End

Welcome to a very different type of Glasgow dentist West End. We at Buttercup 7 Day Dental take a very different perspective on how dental care should be delivered, let us show you how we practise this philosophy.

From the ground up, we’ve built our surgery to be something quite different. The moment you walk in the door you’ll see it immediately; our waiting room is also our own coffee shop. We provide free Wi-Fi and all the comforts you would expect of a high end coffee house.

But our stylishness does not stop just with appearances. We’ve turned the idea of a trip to the dentist on its head. We operate across many more hours than your run-of-the-mill dentist. We know that just because widespread dentistry started in the 1950s does not mean that our opening times have to stick with that epoch. We offer late bookings till 8.30pm Monday to Thursday to allow you to visit after work and should that not suit you, why not visit after work Saturday 9.00am to 4.00pm and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm? All the while always receiving our friendly relaxed style of community dentistry.

We created our clinic wishing to be as user friendly as possible. This includes making our younger patients’ waiting area (one of the most popular parts of the trip) well furnished with a range of toys and diversions. For adults, we provide tea and coffee and the free Wi-Fi, which can either be enjoyed on your own phone or with our in-house iPads if you would prefer.

Our emphasis on our customers’ experience does not end when you sit down in the dental chair. We practise pain-free dentistry, not reducing or limiting the amount of pain relief we provide based on some arbitrary guidelines, but on how you respond to the sedation. If more time is required to allow it to set in or a larger dose is needed, we will happily administer it. We will never proceed with a procedure if we have any concerns about you being able to feel any aspect of it.

We understand that our Glasgow dentist West End can be a tricky place to park and although we would never recommend you drive after receiving sedation, a lot of our patients do attend with a vehicle of their own or their escort drives them in. To that end we have secured free parking for all of our patients.

As you may have noticed by now, all these parts of our practice are aimed towards making your experience as pleasant as possible. This can be particularly useful for those with an aversion to dentistry and dental surgeries; in many ways, our practice is barely recognisable as a dental clinic from the outside. And we are always willing to make adjustments for patients when possible. If you have mentioned that you or your family member is a nervous patient over the phone, we will do our best to facilitate a rapid appointment with the shortest possible waiting time.
