What is Invisalign?

How does it work?

When you come in for your first appointment, we will take a 3D scan of your teeth. From here we can quickly show you a digital reconstruction of how your teeth will look at the end of the treatment. This data is then sent off to make your series of custom aligners. You will receive a pack of aligners that are slightly different and numbered in order of your teeth’s journey. Each aligner will shift your teeth slightly, moving them up, down, sideways or rotating them into their desired position. As the aligners are moulded to your teeth you will effortlessly be able to slip them over your teeth from the comfort of your own home.

Apart from gradually turning your crooked teeth into a perfect smile, Invisalign has some other highly desirable benefits. As we have mentioned, the clear plastic makes them nearly invisible to the untrained eye. They are also completely removable, which means you are able to take them out whenever you are enjoying a meal or to brush your teeth twice a day as normal.
