Dental Implants

An example of one of our treatments and the expertise that we have within our team is dental implants that are used to replace missing teeth. From one missing gnasher through to the whole set, implants can be used to provide a firm foundation for your replacement teeth to be attached to and won’t be going anywhere. Implants are metal screws that are attached to the jaw bone and act as artificial roots for your replacement teeth. Crowns, bridges and dentures can be attached to the screws using an abutment and, once fitted, they are firmly fixed in place, so you will feel like you have your natural teeth back again.

The benefits of implants

With dental implants firmly fixed in place, you can eat and drink whatever you want. You can chomp into apples or steaks (but we do recommend you eat more than just that!) without the worry of your replacement teeth loosening. Gone are the days of poorly fitted dentures that clack about in your mouth as you talk. With dental implants, nobody will be able to tell that you don’t have a full set of natural teeth and your teeth shouldn’t loosen and give the game away!

Taking care of your implants couldn’t be easier too. You simply need to brush, floss, and use mouthwash regularly.
